Sonim Announces Top US Carrier Order Forms for Next-Gen Rugged Phones

Next-Generation XP5 Plus and XP10 Smartphone Orders in Summer and Fall 2022

AUSTIN, TX, May 5, 2022 /PRNewswire/ — Sonim Technologies (Nasdaq: SONM) today announced purchase orders totaling $9.5 million of a major US operator customer. The purchase orders cover initial storage inventory for two of the company’s next-generation ultra-rugged phones to be introduced in 2022 – the XP5 Plus feature phone with enhanced PTT capabilities and the next-generation XP10 5G rugged smartphone from sonim.

The XP5 Plus should be available this summer, and Sonim’s new XP10 rugged 5G smartphone should start shipping in the fall. Carrier prices were awarded based on design specifications, feature set, and cost provided by Sonim through a competitive bidding process.
